Digital Media Planner/Lead Digital Strategist - Healthcare Focus


We are a full-service, born-digital agency based in Miami Lakes, Florida, seeking an experienced Digital Media Planner / Lead Digital Strategist with a strong background in healthcare marketing. In this client-facing role, you will lead digital strategy and media planning for a major healthcare account, overseeing a wide range of paid digital campaigns focused on patient acquisition. We are looking for a South Florida-based professional who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and is passionate about driving measurable results for healthcare clients.


Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for healthcare clients, building trusted relationships and proactively addressing their needs.
  • Develop, present, and execute comprehensive, performance-driven digital media strategies and plans tailored to patient acquisition and healthcare marketing objectives.
  • Lead the planning and optimization of paid search (SEM), paid social, programmatic, and other digital channels, ensuring campaigns are aligned with client goals and regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare client-ready plans, points of view (POVs), campaign recaps, and actionable insights.
  • Oversee campaign launches and manage team members responsible for campaign execution, ensuring best practices and compliance in the healthcare sector.
  • Track and analyze campaign performance using digital analytics platforms, providing data-driven recommendations to enhance campaign effectiveness and ROI.
  • Stay current with healthcare digital marketing trends, HIPAA regulations, and emerging technologies to inform strategy and maintain competitive advantage.
  • Collaborate with creative, account, and analytics teams to deliver integrated, patient-centric campaigns.
  • Manage media budgets, negotiate placements, and ensure cost-effective delivery of campaigns.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 4+ years in digital media planning, digital strategy, or account management, preferably within a marketing agency and with significant healthcare experience.
  • Deep expertise in paid search (Google Ads, Bing), paid social, programmatic, and digital media buying, with a proven track record in patient acquisition marketing.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex data into compelling stories and presentations for clients.
  • Advanced knowledge of digital analytics, campaign optimization, and reporting tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Meta Ads Manager, DSPs).
  • Experience managing large-scale, multi-channel digital campaigns in regulated industries, especially healthcare.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or a related field.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • South Florida residency preferred for hybrid in-office/remote schedule.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Direct experience with HIPAA-compliant marketing and healthcare industry regulations5.
  • Familiarity with patient journey mapping, healthcare CRM systems, and healthcare-specific KPIs (e.g., patient acquisition cost, appointment show rate)5.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus, reflecting the diverse South Florida market.
