Description

The Digital Marketing Specialist will support strategy development with a focus on implementation of campaigns within the digital realm. This includes but is not limited to: social media maintenance and advertising, Feathr, Facebook, Google, LinkedIn and Twitter Ads, content marketing, text message marketing, mobile apps, landing pages, in-app advertising, SEO, SEM, WordPress, graphic design, google analytics, and digital customer conversion.

MAJOR FUNCTIONS:
  • Assists with planning, budgeting and implementation of all digital marketing.
  • Works collaboratively with events, marketing, sponsorship, exhibit sales, publications, web team, creative department, and others on occasion.
  • Implements strategy for social media organic and advertising (Facebook, Google, LinkedIn and Twitter)
  • Drive engagement for all events across social media platforms
  • Implementation of Feathr and other remarketing efforts
  • Creates landing pages to drive conversion and track ROI
  • Creates content, all forms: trends, blog, graphic, video to be used across digital platforms.
  • Use metrics to analyze, evaluate and report on digital marketing campaigns on the merit of performance and opportunities
  • Analysis: Competitive, SEO and keyword analytics
  • Keep up-to-date of the latest SEO, SEM, display, paid social, industry technology, trends and opportunities
  • Researches and compares new digital platforms relevant to SME events
  • Other duties as assigned
Requirements

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, EDUCATION:
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 2 - 5 years of experience in the digital marketing space
  • 2+ years of experience in social media preferred
  • Significant hands-on experience with paid search marketing including bid management, keyword research, campaign building, testing & optimization, data analytics, etc
  • Experience with Google Ads, Google Analytics, and Retargeting
  • Google Ads certification preferable
  • Experience with Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn advertising
  • Excellent data analysis & tracking ability
  • Strong understanding of ROI and digital tracking of results
  • Significant experience with email marketing - including CRM systems for self-deployment and HTML creation
  • Experience with WordPress, SEO, SEM, and Google Ranking
  • Understands landing pages and display marketing
  • Resourceful and self-motivated, ability to work under strict deadlines, on multiple projects
  • Ability to accurately explain strategy, digital marketing, implementation, and benefits
  • Ability to create social media artwork and creative
  • Willing to learn new digital platforms
WORKING CONDITIONS:
  • Normal office environment
  • Regular, in-person attendance required
  • Primary office location: Southfield, MI
  • Some travel required
