Job Summary
The Digital Marketing Specialist collaborates closely with the marketing team to develop, plan, and execute marketing strategies aimed at enhancing the visibility of the Prevea brand. This position is responsible for uploading content for external and internal websites, performing routine website audits to ensure websites are consistent and error free, building and deploying emails, monitoring, maintaining business/local listings, and measurement of marketing campaigns. This job also supports content updates on HSHS hospitals in Wisconsin (four hospitals) public and internal website.
What you will do
Recommend and implement digital strategies to support regional marketing plans.
Add and update content on external and internal websites via a content management system ensuring pages meet internal style and best practice guidelines, are error free and links work appropriately.
Monitor and maintain business/local listings for Google My Business, and additional third party vendors.
Monitor and maintain proper SEO best practices including performing SEO content audits and making recommendations for updating content.
Create and monitor online event registrations, export lists and respond to cancellations.
Build monthly emails and newsletters using the EMS email platform.
Troubleshoot issues with current sites and applications
Develop technical documentation of website update processes.
Education Qualifications
Associate's Degree In marketing, advertising, communication, or related discipline Required
Bachelor's Degree In marketing, advertising, communication, or related discipline Preferred
Experience Qualifications
3-5 years Experience with digital marketing including website design, email marketing, Google listings and reviews, etc. Required
Skills and Abilities
Demonstrated proficiency in HTML, CSS, website design, Photoshop, email marketing, content management systems (CMS), responsive design, compatibility issues between different browsers.
Working knowledge of Google platforms including Google analytics and Google My Business
Ability to think strategically and apply marketing objectives to work being done in the digital space.
Must be able to work as a team or individually.
Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
Excellent communication and organizational skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical customers and staff.
Ability to be a proactive and creative solution provider.
The ability to read, understand and follow oral and written instruction.
Strong and collegial working relationship skills, possessing a high level of diplomacy and effectiveness under pressure situations, are also required.
Ability to contribute to all phases of application development (analysis, design, development, testing, implementation and support.
Knowledge of tools and best practices in project management, digital production, content management, web design and development, SEO, analytics and UI/UX.
