Job Summary
We are looking for a data-driven and strategic PPC and SEO Specialist to join our Marketing team. This role will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to drive traffic, improve conversion rates, and maximize ROI across paid and organic search channels. You'll work cross-functionally with content, web, and product marketing teams to deliver impactful digital campaigns and optimize web visibility.
A background in biotech, life sciences, or related technical industries is a strong bonus and will help align messaging and targeting with our scientific audience.
Major Responsibilities
Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
- Lead SEO strategy and planning; define KPIs and measure results across campaigns.
- Optimize on-site and off-site SEO to improve rankings, traffic, and conversions.
- Conduct keyword research and collaborate with the content team to produce SEO-optimized content.
- Monitor industry trends, Google algorithm changes, and competitor performance to stay ahead.
- Analyze performance using Google Analytics, Search Console, and other SEO tools.
Pay-Per-Click (PPC)
- Manage day-to-day operations of Google Ads and other paid media platforms.
- Create and optimize campaigns focusing on CPC, conversion rate, and ROAS.
- Own keyword planning, bid strategy, ad copy, and landing page alignment.
- Regularly A/B test creatives, audiences, and targeting strategies.
- Provide clear reporting on ad performance with actionable insights.
Preferred Background
- Bachelor's degree (scientific discipline such as Biotechnology, Genetics, or Molecular Biology is a bonus)
- Experience working with scientific or technical audiences.
- Knowledge of the biotech industry landscape and laboratory workflows.
Qualifications
- Minimum 4 years of experience managing SEO and Google Ads campaigns (and other platforms like Bing, LinkedIn, etc.)
- Proven success in B2B or tech sectors; biotech/life sciences experience is a plus.
- Google Ads Certification required; advanced experience with Google Analytics and Tag Manager.
- Proficiency in Excel
- Highly organized, analytical thinker with excellent attention to detail.
- Self-motivated and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment.
