ROLE OUTLINE We're on an exciting journey to redefine Marketing at BlueScope Buildings North America (BBNA). With transformative work underway across our legacy brands, digital experiences, sales enablement, events, and more, we're seeking a skilled part-time Project Manager to help keep these initiatives on track and within budget.
The Project Manager position is pivotal in managing the delivery of digital marketing and creative team projects involving cross-functional teams. This role is dedicated to overseeing digital campaigns, website builds, content creation, sales enablement resources, and creative asset production, ensuring all initiatives are delivered on time, within budget, and in alignment with business objectives. These projects often span multiple departments, carry high visibility, and operate on tight timelines. Success requires a seasoned project manager who can confidently navigate enterprise environments, manage brand and digital asset buildouts, and drive progress by aligning cross-functional stakeholders, resolving roadblocks, and ensuring timely delivery of complex initiatives.
Key Focus Areas - Lead and manage the planning, execution, and delivery of digital marketing projects (e.g., website launches, digital advertising campaigns, SEO/SEM, social media, email marketing).
- Oversee the workflow of the creative team (designers, writers, video/photo production), ensuring creative output aligns with brand standards and project briefs.
- Collaborate closely with digital, creative, and channel teams to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
- Track and report on project budgets, milestones, risks, and outcomes.
- Create and update documentation for standard processes, programs, and assigned projects.
- Manage project workflows using Adobe Workfront in adherence to existing process guidelines.
- Maintain organized documentation and storage systems (e.g., SharePoint).
- Prepare leadership presentations and reports summarizing project progress and outcomes.
Skills and Experience - Experience:
- Minimum 10 years of project management experience, preferably in B2B marketing.
- Demonstrated success in leading multi-channel marketing projects from brief through execution
- Experience working with creative, demand gen, content, and product marketing stakeholders
- Technical Proficiency:
- Expertise in project management software (Adobe Workfront preferred).
- Proficient in Microsoft 365 tools (Teams, SharePoint, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Project Management Skills:
- Strong organizational abilities and proactive problem-solving skills to anticipate needs and drive projects forward independently.
- Oversee successful delivery of creative studio projects by coordinating workflows and managing deadlines on requests including, but not limited to photo and video shoots, asset creation and management, digital and print elements, etc.
- Experience managing digital projects including campaigns, software implementations, content strategy and creation, and website builds (from discovery to launch)
- Communication Skills:
- Ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders across departments to ensure alignment and successful delivery of projects.
Work Environment - Kansas City Metro preferred for the occasional in-person meeting, but open to fully remote candidates as well.
