Job Overview

As the Digital Marketing Manager at Byroe, you will lead the execution of high-impact digital strategies to drive brand growth, customer engagement, and e-commerce performance. Reporting to the Marketing Director and working closely with the Creative Team, you will own the digital customer journey-from awareness to conversion-across channels including paid media, SEO, email, social, influencer, and Shopify. You'll play a key role in elevating Byroe's online presence and expanding our digital footprint both domestically and internationally.

This role requires a mix of strategic planning, performance analysis, and hands-on execution, with a deep understanding of the beauty and skincare consumer landscape.


Key Responsibilities


1. Digital Marketing Strategy & Execution

  • Lead and execute integrated digital marketing campaigns (paid social, paid search, SEO, email, SMS, and affiliate).
  • Create data-driven strategies that align with brand goals, product launches, and key moments in the marketing calendar.
  • Own campaign planning, execution, and optimization across all digital platforms.
  • Collaborate with the Creative Team to develop assets for digital use, ensuring consistency and performance.

2. E-Commerce Growth (Shopify)

  • Manage and optimize Byroe's Shopify site for conversions and user experience.
  • Implement CRO tactics such as A/B testing, upsell flows, and homepage refreshes based on analytics.
  • Oversee merchandising, product uploads, content updates, and site performance tracking.
  • Collaborate with creative and dev teams to ensure website aligns with campaign goals and brand identity.

3. Analytics & Performance Marketing

  • Own KPI tracking and reporting for digital marketing performance (ROAS, CAC, LTV, conversion rates).
  • Analyze customer behavior data to inform segmentation, retargeting, and lifecycle marketing strategies.
  • Adjust digital strategies in real-time based on performance insights.

4. CRM, Email & SMS Marketing

  • Develop lifecycle marketing strategies across email and SMS to drive retention and repeat purchases.
  • Own the customer journey flow from welcome series to post-purchase and win-back campaigns.
  • Manage segmentation, automation, and content calendars for Klaviyo or other CRM platforms.

5. Influencer & Social Media Integration

  • Support influencer strategy with digital integrations-e.g., white-listed content, affiliate tracking, and boosting.
  • Collaborate on user-generated content strategies to enhance digital brand presence.
  • Optimize social media strategy across platforms for traffic and conversion goals.

6. SEO & Content Marketing

  • Develop and execute SEO strategies (on-page, off-page, and content) to improve organic search rankings.
  • Identify high-performing keywords and content topics aligned with skincare trends and brand positioning.
  • Collaborate on blog strategy and educational content to drive organic traffic and brand authority.

7. Trend & Market Insight

  • Stay ahead of skincare and beauty digital marketing trends, platform changes, and consumer behaviors.
  • Monitor competitor digital strategies to identify growth opportunities and differentiation.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in digital marketing, ideally within a skincare or beauty brand.

Proven success in e-commerce and performance marketing across Shopify, Meta, Google Ads, and Klaviyo.

Strong understanding of beauty customer behavior and the digital funnel.

Experience with analytics tools (Google Analytics, GA4, Shopify, Meta Ads Manager, etc.).

Deep knowledge of digital campaign metrics, targeting, and optimization strategies.

Familiarity with influencer marketing and UGC integration in paid/organic content.

Strong project management, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Passion for skincare, clean beauty, and sustainability is a must.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, agile startup environment.
