Life Network exists to cultivate a community that values life through the love of Christ DIGITAL MARKETING INTERN The ideal candidate will have digital marketing skills with a mind for communicating key messaging to donors and clients, furthering Life Network's ministry to value life and see lives transformed. This position will assist the Marketing Manager and the Marketing & Communications team with a website project, content creation, donor events, and related duties to help tell the story of our ministry in a dynamic way.
RESPONSIBILITIES - Help us create pages on our new WordPress Life Network website, using templates and written content already supplied.
- Source and create content for multiple marketing channels, with an emphasis on social media and blogs.
- Utilize software such as Canva for basic graphic design for social feeds
- Assist the Marketing Manager in adapting client testimonials and raw stories to donor communications.
- Help with other marketing responsibilities as needed (i.e., scheduling event-based social media content, drafting email content, etc.)
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned
EXPERIENCE - A combination of college education and/or professional experience in a related field
- Experience required in Wordpress
- Preference to candidates also knowledgeable in Elementor
- Coding/CSS experience a plus
QUALIFICATIONS - Strong advocate for the sanctity of life issues
- Possesses Christian testimony with evidence of Christian maturity in personal and professional life
- Active commitment to a local church
- A passion for the ministry accomplished through Life Network and a heart for reaching the lost of our community/world with the Gospel
- Eye for visual layout and design (Canva or similar; Adobe Suite a plus)
- Strong writing and narrative skills
- Working knowledge of online platforms and software (i.e., HootSuite, Facebook, Instagram, Google MyBusiness, Constant Contact, Office 365)
- Outstanding attention to detail in written and visual communications
- Demonstrates excellence in interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
- Self-motivated and exhibits outstanding organizational and multi-tasking skills
- Able to balance multiple, time-sensitive tasks
CLASSIFICATION Intern position for 10-20 hours per week. Potential for additional hours as available. This position is not compensated nor is eligible for benefits.
