We are seeking a highly driven Digital Channel Development Expert to identify, test, and expand our go-to-market channels in the US market. A growth background in a hyper-scale business is preferred.
The ideal candidate will have experience in web productivity, hosting, domains, and cloud computing. As a specialist, you will focus on strategic channels such as paid performance social media marketing, user-generated content (UGC), podcasts, and the development of new affiliate channels. Additionally, you will steer with our central team in Germany the deployment, measurement and testing roadmap for the entire US marketing budget.
A comprehensive understanding of US marketing channels and their metrics is essential for devising effective go-to-market strategies that enable us to test and scale investments in these channels.
Key Responsibilities:

- Identify, test, and develop innovative digital marketing channels tailored for rapid expansion in the US market, aligning with IONOS's performance marketing KPIs.
- Drive the development of new affiliate channels and oversee performance within paid social media, UGC, and podcast marketing.
- Monitor channel performance, leveraging key metrics to evaluate effectiveness and refine strategies for optimal channel efficiency.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, product, and broader marketing units, to ensure alignment and consistency across initiatives.
- Draft marketing narratives and oversee the production of "performance content", including deployment and measurement; create compelling promotional content and campaigns that resonate with target audiences to drive brand growth.
- Provide bi-weekly updates to the senior leadership team in the US and Germany
- Host bi-weekly marketing standup and present in team meetings on new customer acquisition performance
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with channel partners to maximize growth and engagement in the US market.
- Research and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and consumer insights to uncover new opportunities and inform strategy development.
- Communicate campaign impacts and performance metrics to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment in strategy execution.
- Maintain a cutting-edge understanding of industry trends and digital marketing innovations to enhance channel marketing strategies continually.
Desired Qualifications:
- 7-10+ years of experience in digital marketing, focusing on channel development and strategy implementation.
- Proven expertise in web productivity, hosting, domains, and cloud computing markets.
- Strong ability to work collaboratively with technical and creative teams to develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies.
- Demonstrated experience in managing and scaling spend within social media marketing, UGC channels, and podcast platforms.
- Exceptional analytical skills, with the capacity to identify emerging opportunities and devise strategic solutions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, fostering effective relationships with partners and internal teams.
- Proficient in marketing tools and platforms, such as CRM systems, marketing automation, and analytics, including Looker, GA4, Adobe Analytics, and Google Ads.
- Ability to manage multiple initiatives within a fast-paced, results-driven environment, prioritizing effectively to meet deadlines.
- Adept at using data to inform decisions and optimize marketing strategies for enhanced channel performance.
Physical requirements and Working Conditions
- Sitting or standing for extended periods of time
- Spend extended hours in front of a computer screen
- Ability to travel via air and/or vehicle on an overnight basis, including international travel on an estimated quarterly basis
- Ability to lift objects during travel up to 20 lbs.
- The role is located in downtown Philadelphia, PA and requires at least 3 days on-site per week or on days as designated by management
