Job Overview We are seeking a highlyskilled and motivated Digital Factory Specialist to join our team in Charlotte,NC, to support the start-up of a new state-of-the-art bushing factory. Thesuccessful candidate will play a pivotal role in transforming our facility intoa paperless, automated, and highly visualized environment. This is an excitingopportunity to be part of a forward-thinking organization dedicated tooperational excellence and sustainable practices.
Your Tasks: - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement digital solutions that enhance factory operations and efficiency.
- Lead initiatives to transition the facility to a paperless environment by implementing digital documentation and workflow systems.
- Develop and deploy automation solutions to streamline production processes and improve productivity.
- Create and maintain real-time visualization tools to monitor factory performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Ensure seamless integration of digital systems with existing infrastructure and equipment.
- Provide training and support to factory staff on digital tools and technologies.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive continuous improvement.
- Work closely with IT and engineering teams to ensure cybersecurity measures are in place for all digital systems.
Requirements: - Minimum 3 years of experience in digital transformation, automation, or smart factory initiatives.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience in digital transformation projects within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of automation technologies, IoT, and industrial software systems.
- Experience with visualization tools and data analytics.
