We are searching for a Digital Design Engineer with an aerospace/defense company based near Carlsbad, CA
You will be responsible for
- Assist in troubleshooting and debugging tasks for digital and analog designs
- Perform software and hardware design analysis
- Develop FPGA and microcontroller code for system control and sensing
- Assist in developing GUI for system interfacing
- Design DC-DC and/or AC-DC converters for clean power management
- Design protection circuitry for system and subsystem assemblies (EMI, overcurrent, TVS, etc.)
- Verify and validate software and hardware designs
- Perform research and develop solutions for hardware and software issues
- Compile formal written reports to communicate test progress, test results, and other relevant information to project stakeholders and management
- Create, update, and manage test data for use in the various stages of software and hardware testing for complex digital and analog systems
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of related experience
- Electrical (Bachelor's degree) or Computer Engineering (Bachelor's degree)
