Location This position may be performed remotely, in the United States. Candidates must live in a state where Scooter's Coffee operates coffee shop locations. Scooter's Coffee is headquartered in Omaha, NE. Regular travel to Omaha will be expected for candidates that do not reside in Omaha, NE.
Description Scooter's Coffee is looking for a Digital Automation Specialist to assist in building, implementing, and optimizing automated marketing and operational workflows. This role is hands-on and focused on executing automated and API-trigger based campaigns, maintaining automation frameworks, performing QA, and troubleshooting technical challenges. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, technically proficient, and eager to expand their expertise in customer engagement automation, ensuring all workflows run smoothly and effectively.?
Essential Duties and Responsibilities - Own quality assurance for all automation workflows, ensuring campaigns function correctly before deployment.?
- Test and validate triggered campaigns, audience segmentation, and personalization logic within Braze.?
- Identify and troubleshoot issues in automation workflows and assist with implement fixes.?
- Assist in building and optimizing API-based triggered campaigns across email, SMS, push notifications, and in-app messaging.?
- Support the management and maintenance of the Braze Personalization Catalog to ensure seamless execution of automated experiences.?
- Maintain technical documentation for automation workflows, API implementations, and lifecycle campaigns.?
- Monitor and ensure data integrity by implementing validation protocols and troubleshooting inconsistencies.?
- Assist with configuring event tracking, maintaining event schemas, and resolving tagging discrepancies.?
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges related to automation workflows and customer segmentation.?
- Stay informed about partner roadmaps, feature releases, and advocate for feature enhancements within the Braze dashboard.?
- Perform other duties as assigned to support automation and lifecycle marketing initiatives.?
Qualifications - 2+ years of hands-on experience in marketing automation, customer engagement workflows, or digital operations.?
- Experience working with Braze, Amplitude, Talon.One, or similar automation and customer engagement platforms.?
- Familiarity with designing and executing automated customer journeys and triggered workflows.?
- Understanding of segmentation strategies, personalization, and event-based triggers.?
- Experience working with APIs, webhooks, and data integrations for marketing automation.?
- Basic proficiency in HTML, Liquid scripting, and dynamic content creation.?
- Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.
