Responsibilities
Diet Clerk/Dietary Aide - Per Diem(As Needed) Weekends are required for this position Under the direction of the dietitian, the Dietary Aide provides clinical support by assisting with the approval of therapeutic menu selections, ensuring the accuracy of meal orders, and verifying that patient trays are prepared at the correct temperatures. Additionally, the Diet Clerk may assist with meal distribution, patient interactions regarding dietary preferences or restrictions, and maintaining cleanliness and organization in the food service area.
Qualifications
Education and Work Experience
- AA degree in Food Science/Nutrition preferred.
- One (1) year of healthcare experience working with modified diets preferred
County Specific requirement.
- County Specific Food Handlers certification required upon hire and maintained current
