Express Employment Professionals of Warwick, RI is seeking a dedicated and motivated Dietary Aide for immediate hire.
Job Summary:
Under the supervision of the Assistant Manager of Food Services, the Dietary Aide is responsible for serving a variety of food items to patients. This role includes preparing and maintaining the cafeteria, ensuring cleanliness, and other related duties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare the cafeteria counter for each meal service (morning, afternoon, and breaks)
- Ensure dishes, trays, silverware, and cups are stocked and readily available
- Serve food to employees and guests in the cafeteria line with a positive attitude and respect
- Practice proper portion control techniques
- Clean and sanitize tables and chairs after each meal service
- Communicate with the kitchen to replenish food as needed
- Maintain appropriate food temperatures for both hot and cold items
- Keep the work area clean and organized
- Restock and refill condiments as necessary
- Track the number of employees and guests served
- Clean and sanitize cooking and serving utensils
- Prepare and deliver patient snacks and nourishments
