Responsible for the maintenance and repairs for all Marr companies fleet vehicles. Equipment includes but is not limited to tractors, trailers, rolloffs and straight trucks.
Diesel Technician Requirements: - Must have at least 6 months of diesel technician / mechanic experience
- Must be physically fit, capable of lifting at least 70 pounds frequently, manual dexterity, bending, stooping required.
- Must maintain valid commercial drivers license class A/B, and drive in a professional manner at all times.
- Must be familiar with hydraulic systems, as well as air brakes.
- Possesses or willing to get a state inspection sticker license.
This is a union position and after probationary period applicant would be required to join Machinist and Aerospace workers union Local 447 and be eligible for pension and union health benefits.
