Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and troubleshoot 12 VDC, 120-460 VAC electrical systems and controls.
- Perform basic maintenance and repairs on diesel engines, including oil changes, fuel filter replacements, and PTO adjustments.
- Maintain and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, and compressed air systems.
- Work with electric and diesel power drive systems.
- Service equipment at local government facilities (applicants must meet access requirements).
- Travel overnight as needed (company vehicle and expense account provided).
- Wear and be fit-tested for a half-mask respirator when required (may require shaving for a proper seal).
- Lift up to 50 lbs as needed.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- No felony convictions (required for government facility access).
- Basic knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems.
- Ability to work independently and demonstrate a strong work ethic.
- Willingness to learn and develop new skills.
Compensation: Based on experience and ability to learn required skills.
