Duties and Responsibilities: - Maintains expert knowledge of, and advanced working proficiency in, the following vehicle components and systems:
- Chassis component repair and maintenance
- Multiple and steerable lift axels
- PTO components
- USDOT inspections
- Refuse bodies, including air and electric controls
- Air and hydraulic braking systems
- Engine repair and after treatment maintenance
- Suspension, drivetrain, and steering systems
- Heating and air conditioning systems
- Occasional yard equipment service and repair
- Assist in coordinating daily ship operations and ensuring timely completion of repair tasks
- Performs computer repair diagnostics to determine root cause of issue
- Identifies the source of malfunctions using a variety of electronic tools
- Work effectively with team members at all levels of the company as a positive, professional example
- Represent the company in a professional and ethical manner consistent with our mission statement
- Roadside repair and maintenance utilizing a company service truck
- Occasional weekend needed
- Other duties as assigned
