PM - Diesel Technician - Heavy Equipment & Fleet Vehicles
Location: Victoria, Tx
Pay: $21.00 - $23.00/HR
Express Employment Professionals is seeking an experienced PM - Diesel Technician to join our client's team. This role involves maintaining and repairing fleet vehicles and heavy equipment to ensure safe and efficient operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostics, repairs, and preventative maintenance on diesel, gasoline, and electrical vehicles, including compactors, excavators, wheel loaders, and more
- Troubleshoot and repair engines, transmissions, drivelines, hydraulic systems, electrical components, brakes, and suspension systems
- Read and interpret equipment condition reports and repair orders
- Communicate with supervisors and operators to clarify defects and recommend preventative maintenance
- Maintain service records and follow all safety protocols
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of diesel engine repair experience preferred
- Strong mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic troubleshooting skills
- Must have own tools
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
