Diesel Mechanic

Vander Haag's has a great opportunity for an experienced Diesel Service Technician (Diesel Mechanic) to join our team in Spencer, Iowa. ASE Certification is preferred, but not required. General duties include:All types of medium and heavy duty truck repairEngine diagnostics and overhaulsDrivetrainElectricalDOT inspectionsPM maintenanceHydraulic systemsFabrication Hours: Day shift hours, Monday through Friday. No evenings, weekends, or holidays required.Compensation: This position pays an hourly base compensation + overtime. Hourly rate will range from $25.00 - $35.00/hour. Hourly rate is dependent upon experience and qualifications (e.g., ASE Certifications, etc.). Tools: Vander Haag's offers flexible arrangements to assist you with the purchase of additional tools (if necessary). We also sell Milwaukee power tools right at our store locations.
