Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role as a Diesel Mechanic at Hobbs Company Limited LLC in Reno, NV. As a Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and inspecting vehicles to ensure compliance with Department of Transportation regulations. This position comes with Union benefits. We are a drug free work place.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of DOT regulations and standards
- Experience in vehicle maintenance and repair
- Certification in Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- DOT Annual Inspections
- Diesel engine repair and troubleshooting
- Chassis wiring troubleshooting and repair
- Repair of Medium and Heavy duty truck platforms
- Welding experience is prefered
- Completion of documentation in an accurate and timely manor
