To provide safe, reliable and cost efficient vehicles by performing quality preventive maintenance inspections and repairs as well as performing expert diagnosis and repair as required to prevent breakdowns on road, reduce vehicle down time and improve total fleet reliability. Responsibilities include performing required inspections and preventive maintenance on vehicles and equipment, performing FAI/CVI (Annual) inspections on all fleet vehicles, performing quality maintenance repairs, addressing Driver Vehicle Inspection Report write ups, diagnosing malfunctions, and following procedures including documenting all work performed. Education and experience required includes Medium / Heavy Duty truck technical training and a high school diploma or GED. Certifications such as Annual Inspector Certification and ASE certifications are preferred. Physical demands include the ability to lift and move up to 100 lbs and work in various conditions.
