UPMC Williamsport is looking for a Full time Diagnostic Technologist/Advanced Diagnostic Technologist to join our team. This role offers daylight hours, typically from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, with rotating weekends, holidays, and on-call responsibilities during the week and on weekends.

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform imaging procedures independently using your judgment, ingenuity, and initiative.
- Properly identify patients using two patient identifiers and follow universal protocols.
- Review patient history, assess physician orders, and apply specific departmental protocols for optimal results.
- Document patient history in electronic records as required.
- Administer PO and rectal contrast per physician orders/department policy.
- Ensure all exams are properly coded, tracked, and networked for archiving and interpretation.
- Utilize complex imaging equipment for the acquisition, analysis, manipulation, and documentation of image data.
- Communicate instructions clearly and concisely to patients, explaining procedures to alleviate their fears and gain their cooperation.

Graduate of an ARRT-approved school of Radiologic Technology.
Two years of Diagnostic experience is required.
Must have obtained a performance review rating of strong/solid/good on the most recent performance review to be eligible for promotion.
Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:
ARRT certified in Radiography.
CPR or BLS Required. CPR is required based on AHA standards that include both a didactic and skills demonstration component within 30 days of hire.

- Basic Life Support (BLS) OR Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
- Act 31 Child Abuse Reporting with renewal
- Act 33 with renewal
- Act 34 with renewal
- Act 73 FBI Clearance with renewal
