Pay Range: $38 - $46 / hr

Job Duties:
Oversees daily operations of Diagnostic Imaging across two locations, ensuring smooth workflow and staff coverage.
Acts as liaison with Radiologists regarding quality, safety, and imaging protocols.
Manages staff schedules, PTO approvals, and coverage for 11 FTEs to maintain service levels.
Assists with hiring, onboarding, and performance evaluations for diagnostic x-ray staff.
Oversees training, in-services, and compliance with mandatory education, licensure, and health requirements.
Maintains and monitors quality assurance programs, including image quality evaluations and corrective actions.
Handles patient complaints, equipment issues, and supply ordering, escalating as needed.
Audits billing for accuracy and coordinates with finance on corrections and new charge codes.
Maintains NYSDOH and HFAP compliance with equipment logs, QC/QA documentation, and survey readiness.
Supports biannual NYSDOH inspections with zero avoidable major citations.
Serves as clinical instructor and technical resource for specialty x-ray procedures and PACS systems.
Acts as department lead during absences of Director/Operations Manager and during system downtimes.
Participates in safety committees and leadership meetings, contributing reports and feedback.
Leads performance improvement initiatives and represents the department at community and hospital events.
Promotes a positive culture through exemplary leadership, communication, and staff engagement.

Requirements
2-5 years experience in Diagnostic Imaging Preferred
ARRT Registry Required
Leadership experience preferred
