As a Sales Representative for Regalis Texas, you will be at the forefront of wholesale operations in our DFW market. Your role will be to develop new food service business opportunities, nurture existing relationships with restaurant customers, work collaboratively with team members, and facilitate direct restaurant deliveries . The ideal candidate is a passionate food enthusiast with a strong sales background, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of the local food and restaurant industry.
This sales role will report directly to the GM of Regalis TX.
Some of the key responsibilities of this position include:
- Customer Acquisition and Management: Identifying potential customers that we are not servicing in the greater Dallas/Fort Worth market and converting them into clients. This involves understanding the needs of each potential customer and tailoring product offerings to meet those needs. Irrespective of opening new business, this role is critical in also maintaining relationships with existing customers to ensure their needs are being met and to continue fostering loyalty.
- Sales Targets: Achieving sales targets set by GM/COO by actively selling the Regalis assortment of products to customers. This involves planning, time management and execution to ensure these goals are met each month.
- Order Processing and Follow-up: Aggregating orders from customers, ensuring accurate processing and submission to the operations teams, and following up to ensure timely delivery. This will involve close coordination with cross functional teams.
- Collaboration and Teamwork: Working closely with other departments and branches within the company, such as Regalis dispatch, logistics, warehouse, and purchasing teams to ensure a unified approach to achieving the company's revenue and profitability goals.
- Direct Restaurant Deliveries and Relationship Management: Oversee the direct delivery process of Regalis products to restaurants, ensuring the accuracy, quality, and timeliness of deliveries. This involves physically driving a Regalis delivery vehicle, coordinating delivery schedules with our delivery team, managing specific restaurant requirements, and resolving any delivery-related issues promptly. It also involves building strong relationships with restaurant managers, chefs, receivers, porters, and any ancillary staff to understand their unique needs, preferences, and challenges. This responsibility ensures that the company provides exceptional service to its restaurant clients.
- Proactive Account Management and Recovery: Actively monitor the status of accounts to identify restaurants and customers that are at risk of going on hold or have aging accounts receivables. This involves initiating contact with these customers to work down overdue balances.
