Job Number: R DevSecOps Security Engineer Key Role: Design, implement, integrate, and maintain systems and tools to automate complex cyber activities in a DoD cloud environment leveraging a DevSecOps pipeline. Apply leading-edge principles, theories, and concepts and contribute to the development of new principles and concepts. Apply advanced consult ing skills and extensive technical expertise, along with a breadth of DoD and industry cybersecurity knowledge to each technical challenge. Work on unusually complex problems and provide highly innovative solutions. Operate with substantial latitude for unreviewed action or decision. Mentor or supervise employees in both company and technical competencies. Basic Qualifications: 8+ years of experience in information technology and security engineering
3+ years of experience providing automated cybersecurity solutions such as writing secure code or OWASP or being involved in application penetration testing or remediation
Experience with application security solution configuration management, including policy creation, configuration tuning, and change management for common industry cyber solutions or tools
Experience with application cybersecurity DevSecOps capabilities such as Ansible or Terraform, and tools such as Sonarqube, Twistlock, Anchore, HashiCorp Vault, cert-manager, Keycloak, or monitoring or logging tools
Experience establishing DevOps practices, including infrastructure as code ( IaC ) and policy as code
Experience provisioning, installation, configuration, operation, and maintenance of sof tware and IaC in a DevOps and continuous delivery environment using automated deployment and testing frameworks, Git, and CI/CD to deploy containerized sof tware applications and tools
Experience with AWS services, including EKS, CloudFormation, Lambda, S3, and EC2
Active TS / SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam
Bachelor's degree
Security+ Certification Additional Qualifications: Experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux ( RHEL ) or Windows system administration
Experience with container orchestration and management using Kubernetes, including leveraging subject matter expertise in application lifecycle management for containerized Kubernetes clustered environments
TS / SCI clearance with a polygraph
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, or Computer Science

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
