BlueHalo is seeking a DevSecOps Engineer to support the Command, Acquire, Track, Assess, eNgage, and Analyze (CATANA) Program. The ideal candidate will drive how the CATANA product deploys, verifies, and monitors applications and services. This person will interface with government customers and internal/external stakeholders to define DevSecOps processes and orchestrate pipeline development to shape the culture. This role also will assists in the ongoing improvement of Continuous Improvement/ Continuous Development (CI/CD) environment provisioning and development workflows for the CATANA product. You will ensure there are appropriate levels of monitoring and alerting set up for all applications. This position is in Huntsville, AL. Responsibilities: Analyze current technology used within the CATANA Program and develop processes for improvement and expansion. Lead the design and execution of DevSecOps pipelines, ensuring best practices in CI/CD workflows. Interface with government customers and stakeholders to define and refine DevSecOps processes and ensure smooth deployment and operation of applications. Ensure robust monitoring and alerting are in place for all applications and services. Continuously improve the provisioning and development workflows for the CATANA product. Minimum Qualifications: BS/BA degree (preferably in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field). 10+ years of experience in DevSecOps, software engineering, or a related field. Active Secret Clearance. Strong experience working with multiple stakeholders to facilitate the execution of project plans. Proficient with issue tracking systems and tools for continuous integration, code quality, and source control management. Hands-on experience with multiple operating systems (RHEL, Windows, Linux). Experience with software development languages such as C , Python, BASH, or other scripting languages. Proficiency with artifact management software like GitLab, Artifactory, or similar tools. Desired Qualifications: Experience developing engineering applications for large DoD organizations. Familiarity with tools such as OpenShift, Coverity, Fortify, and SD Element is highly desirable. Experience working with the Missile Defense Agency or similar organizations. Deep understanding of best practices in system security. Expertise in configuring, installing, and maintaining artifact repositories. Proven experience in automation implementation and design. Strong skills in team building and project organization. High-level understanding of the implications of working with various operating systems.
