DevSecOps Engineer with Security Clearance

Applied Research Solutions is seeking a full-time DevSecOps engineer (DSOE), located at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio. The DSOE's primary function will be to support the development and operations of the Program Cloud Development Environment. This Engineer will focus on the implementation of security controls and procedures in the environment as well as the development of security driven DevSecOps processes. Why Work with us? Responsibilities include: Assist developers in building, scanning and testing the Skyborg System
Design and document best practices for DevSecOps actions
Utilize USAF PlatformOne DevSecOps guidelines and tools when applicable
Develop DevSecOps tools and techniques as necessary to construct an automated and secure DevSecOps pipeline
Ensures cybersecurity functions, performance, and characteristics are incorporated into the weapon system and validated IAW DOD and USAF policy
Automate deployment and maintenance of solutions across multiple cloud instances using Terraform or other selected Infrastructure as Code tooling
Develop DevSecOps monitoring and reporting capabilities to allow developers, testers and stakeholders to observe the availability and performance of the system
Implement security controls and scans as necessary to conform to RMF security requirements

Qualifications/Technical experience required: Must be a US citizen
5+ years of experience working in a Security Engineering role
2+ years of experience working in a Security role handling cloud infrastructure
2+ years of experience with Docker and container-based technologies
2+ years of experience with Cloud technologies
Familiarity with RMF/DIACAP accreditation process
Strong foundation in containers, algorithms, and software application design
Strong foundation in Linux and virtual machines
Secret Clearance
