Job Description.

Day to day:
  • They are comfortable with candidates with both automation/manual testing experience. Automation testing is highly preferred.
  • They should understand complete stages of application development.
  • Understand user stories, create test cases, analyze business requirement, prepare test plans)

Your Impact:
  • Accountable for manual testing of applications in both the pre- and post-release stage of the development lifecycle. Work as part of an Agile team, helping to ensure that all User Stories have a well-documented User Acceptance Criteria, and that those tests are executed within the sprint.
  • Responsible for the whole software testing lifecycle (analyzing business requirements, support in preparing the test plans, creating the test cases, monitoring bugs, checking bug fixes) Experience in building comprehensive test plans to strategize the testing approach keeping in focus the standardized test delivery processes and best practices.
  • Plan and coordinate all cycles of testing, including functional-level system tests business scenario-based testing, to ensure proper test coverage while mitigating redundancy wherever possible.
  • Provide some hands-on test automation support in writing, maintaining, and improving test code with best coding practices followed.
  • Provide proactive guidance, comprehensive documentation and continual assessment of function and test automation delivery across projects.
  • Translate broad strategies into specific action plans, utilizing existing resources and information to achieve strategic objectives and improve business results.
  • Experience with leading technical transformation within the team moving from a manual testing approach to an automation approach.
  • Drive the team to become more adaptable in quality assurance through test automation, and Continuous Testing practices.
Qualifications
  • Good grasp and experience with automation concepts, tools, and techniques with reasonable knowledge of programming skills (preferably Java/JavaScript/TypeScript), databases (Sybase, DB2 UDB, SQL Server, Oracle etc), SQL, UNIX Shell Scripting Experience with Cucumber (Gherkin) for BDD/collaboration and test automation purposes Expertise in working with DevOps implementation Experience with successful Agile/SCRUM team delivering test automation
