What you can expect
Our UK office in Newcastle upon Tyne is recruiting a DevOps Specialist to support, improve, and expand our existing processes and software within the System Implementation workgroup, aiming to minimize each DevOps cycle's duration.
The DevOps Specialist will support the unification and automation of processes to enhance performance and efficiency by defining, creating, and deploying tools and processes for continuous integration and delivery activities.
This role will ensure compliance with data security and governance legislation and collaborate with developers, managers, and system specialists across the business on client projects and internal R&D initiatives. A strong advocacy for quality in all software functions, development, and usage is essential.
What you will bring
- Good understanding of standard DevOps software components and methods
- Knowledge of software engineering techniques and processes of moderate complexity and size
- Excellent training and presentation skills
- Ability to set up, configure, and execute medium-sized DevOps components and modules
- Experience in identifying and troubleshooting technical defects
- Bachelor's degree in a related subject
- At least 3 years of relevant industry experience in a similar role
- Experience across various projects
