4DV ANALYTICS is looking for DevOps Field Engineer to join our DevOps team. The candidate will be working with a senior company officer and supporting customer operations at customer facilities and in the field locations (CONUS) using new techniques and emerging technologies to support customer missions. Required:
- Familiarity with Linux Operating Systems (Ubuntu and/or Redhat)
- Familiarity with or willing to learn GIT version control system
- Familiarity with Containers (Docker, Podman, or Kubernetes)
- Ability to multitask and prioritize
- Strong interdisciplinary problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- This position requires occasional travel
- Willingness to apply for a government security clearance
Preferred (Not Required):
- Configuration Management or Infrastructure as Code experience (ex. Ansible, Puppet, Terraform)
- Experience compiling open source software
- Mesh Networking and VPN Software experience (ex. Tailscale, Zerotier, Openvpn)
- Familiarity with a structured programming language; such as Python, Node.js
- A Secret security clearance is a plus
