DevOps Engineer - TS/SCI with Polygraph with Security Clearance

As a DevOps Engineer, you will help ensure today is safe and tomorrow is smarter. Our work depends on a DevOps Engineer joining our team to support our intelligence customer in Herndon, VA. HOW A SYSTEMS ENGINEER ADVISOR WILL MAKE AN IMPACT Design, implement and maintain scalable and secure cloud-based infrastructure on AWS EKS
Develop and deploy containerized application using Kubernetes
Configure and manage Grafana for monitoring and visualization of application performance
Implement and manage message queues using Amazon SQS
Develop and implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or similar tools
Collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth deployment and operation of applications
Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and application issues WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED: Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience
Experience: 8+ years in DevOps or a related discipline
Technical skills:
Experience in Kubernetes, AWS EKS, and containerization
Strong experience with scripting languages (Bash, Python, etc.)
Experience with Grafana and monitoring tools
Proficiency in AWS services including SQS, S3, and EC2
Strong understanding of CI/CD principles and tools (Jenkins, GitLab, CI/CD, etc,)
Strong understanding of Linux and networking fundamentals
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Excellent collaborative technical team member
Security clearance level: TS/SCI with Polygraph
