An exciting opportunity has arisen for a DevOps Engineer to join our Wealth Management & Insurance Team.

You'll work within the technical team to help deliver and maintain the continuous delivery and deployment pipeline for our projects and support BAU activities. This role is suitable for an experienced Java software engineer looking to move into DevOps or an existing DevOps Engineer seeking to expand their experience.

The difference you'll make:

  • Supporting deployment of project applications and BAU activities in the development pipeline
  • Supporting the Senior DevOps Engineer and technical team with all pipeline activities across environments
  • Representing the team at change control forums and providing supporting documentation
  • Working according to priorities set by the technical lead and project managers
  • Providing troubleshooting support for deployment processes
  • Supporting the wider team in deployment activities as needed

What you'll bring:

Essential requirements:

  • Experience setting up CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Kubernetes with Java applications
  • Experience with development, testing, deployment, and infrastructure to ensure continuous operation of build and test systems
  • Experience implementing end-to-end product delivery from development to production

Preferred skills:

  • Experience with RedHat OpenStack (IaaS) and OpenShift (PaaS)
  • Experience with Amazon Web Services
  • Experience with monitoring tools like Dynatrace and ElasticSearch
  • Experience using Jira for ticket tracking and workflows

Additional information:

This permanent role is based in Unity Place, Milton Keynes.

We support flexible working patterns, with a minimum of 12 days per month in the office (pro-rata for part-time roles). Please consider your travel distance, time, and costs when applying.

We are open to discussing part-time hours or job-share options during the recruitment process.
