Devops Engineer

Job Summary We are seeking a talented DevOps Engineer with 2 or more years of experience to support the development, deployment, and operations of our cloud-based applications and infrastructure. You will play a key role in automating processes, ensuring system reliability, and enabling continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD). Key Responsibilities: Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions. Manage and automate cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP) using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation. Monitor system performance and ensure availability, scalability, and security of services. Develop scripts and automation tools to streamline operational tasks. Manage containerization and orchestration platforms like Docker and Kubernetes. Collaborate with development and QA teams to streamline the deployment process. Troubleshoot issues across development, testing, and production environments. Required Skills: 2+ years of hands-on experience in a DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) role. Strong experience with Linux/Unix systems and shell scripting. Proficiency in CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, CircleCI, GitLab CI). Experience with Docker and Kubernetes for container management. Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. Knowledge of IaC tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation. Understanding of source control tools (e.g., Git) and branching strategies. Experience with monitoring/logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, or Datadog. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Experience with security best practices in DevOps. Exposure to microservices architecture and service mesh tools (e.g., Istio). Understanding of networking fundamentals and protocols. Familiarity with scripting in Python, Go, or Bash.
