What you will be doing:

  • Overall responsibility of CI/CD pipelines, availability and reliability of various platforms, and supporting small multi-disciplined squads to deliver enhancements and new features of our product.
  • Writing code to automate processes and managing platforms, investigating issues and supporting their resolution.
  • Diagnosing and solving operational problems (application, architectural & infrastructure) using software development techniques.
  • Researching the latest tools and techniques, analyzing their benefits to the company, and streamlining processes.
  • Contributing to high-availability software practices (latency, performance, and capacity).
  • Being a positive and friendly individual, keen to learn new skills and provide input as an asset to the team.
  • Sharing knowledge and fostering a culture of curiosity.

What we are looking for:

  • Experience with deployment tools such as Ansible / Octopus.
  • Use of modern CI/CD tools for delivery and automation (AzureDevOps, GitLab, ).
  • Solid sysadmin and networking capabilities (TCP, firewall, reverse proxy, load-balancer, web containers such as IIS and nginx).
  • Strong knowledge of system administration across multiple OS (especially Windows / Linux) and database concepts, with experience in PostgreSQL, Oracle & ElasticSearch being an advantage.
  • Familiarity with virtualization & containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, Hyper-V, ).
  • Engineering skills using one or more programming languages such as Java, Python, C , shell script (Linux/Powershell).
  • Experience with monitoring, logging, and alerting stacks or APMs, such as Datadog, Dynatrace, Solarwinds, Prometheus, Grafana, TICK, ELK.
  • Exposure to incident response processes and scenarios.
  • Solid verbal and written/diagrammatical communication skills.
  • Experience with quality assurance techniques such as load/stress/chaos testing and proven experience collaborating with wider stakeholders such as Developers, QA, and IT to deliver quality solutions to production environments.
