Job Title: Development Officer

Reports to: Resource Development Director

Pay rate: Starting at $60.000

Purpose:

The Development Officer assists the Resource Development Director in creating and implementing the organization's strategic development and communications plan. This position involves a combination of fundraising, donor relations, and community engagement. The Development Officer is responsible for donor generation and cultivation of faith communities and businesses to secure support for Homeward Bound's programs, in addition to managing the donor database and planning/implementing fundraising and community events.

The weekly work hours typically fall between 9:00 am and 5:00 pm, from Monday to Friday. Occasionally, there may be evening, and weekend hours required for special events. Additionally, this position offers a hybrid work arrangement, allowing for remote work 8 hours a week.
