JOB SUMMARY Works under general direction and is responsible for the overall management and administration of systems and applications that support all fundraising efforts, ensuring their effective use in a wide range of development activities relative to multiple units and stakeholders. This includes expertise in constituent relationship management (CRM) platforms such as Salesforce and/or Affinaquest, with a focus on optimizing system functionality, supporting end-user needs, and enhancing data-driven fundraising strategies.
Preferred experience includes
- Strong understanding of Salesforce CRM, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud.
- Direct experience with Affinaquest (advancement CRM platform).
- Understanding of Affinaquest modules like Gift Processing, Prospect Management, Events, and Constituent Management.
- Experience integrating Affinaquest with other advancement services (email marketing)
This position falls under a hybrid work schedule with 2 days on campus/ 3 days remote.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION Required - Education
Bachelor's Degree in a relevant discipline.
- Experience
5 years experience directly managing a fundraising database in a multi-faceted development office.
JOB DUTIES - Assists in the development and implementation of database standards, policies, and procedures, and maintains detailed documentation of internal business processes and workflows related to the database and other support applications.
- Serves as the resident development database expert, ensures accurate and consistent information management, and trains users on the functionality, standards, and proper use of the database.
- Supports the data needs of the office and its various units, prepares lists and generates ad-hoc and standard analytical, statistical and financial reports using report writer software to accurately, clearly, and effectively present desired data.
- Assists in the preparation of internal and external benchmarking surveys, and financial, management, and summary reports.
- Maintains the structure of the database, including attributes, business rules, code tables, and other related functions, and ensures successful and seamless integration, communication, and feeds between database and other support applications.
- Conducts routine and scheduled database integrity checks and maintenance, and coordinates system upgrades, as released, with appropriate internal and external resources.
- Maintains confidentiality of database records, ensures information security procedures are in place to protect this confidentiality, and oversees adherence to such procedures.
- Performs a wide range of administrative and logistical tasks to support the daily workflow of the office's fundraising and strategic initiatives.
- Manages and develops lower level systems support staff, oversees workflow in a time sensitive environment with rigorous demands and tight deadlines, and works collaboratively with team to ensure the achievement of office goals.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
