Akkodis is seeking a Developer for a Contract job with a client in Indianapolis, IN(Hybrid) . The ideal candidate has expertise in Mainframe technologies like CL, Cobol, and JCL, with responsibilities including application development, JCL scripting, and troubleshooting.

Rate Range: $ 49.24 /hour to $ 64.39 /hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Developer job responsibilities include:
  • Developing and maintaining applications
  • Writing and managing scripts for job scheduling
  • Ensuring data consistency across platforms
  • Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet project goals
Desired Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field
  • 8-10 years of experience in Mainframe development
  • Expertise in CL, Cobol, and JCL
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Familiarity with DB2, CICS, and VSAM
  • Experience in writing and managing JCL scripts for job scheduling
  • Knowledge of data quality assurance and consistency across platforms
  • Proven ability to optimize and maintain large-scale applications
  • Strong communication skills to interact with stakeholders and clients

Pay Details: $49.24 to $64.39 per hour
