Developer for a
Contract job with a client in
Indianapolis, IN(Hybrid) . The ideal candidate has expertise in Mainframe technologies like CL, Cobol, and JCL, with responsibilities including application development, JCL scripting, and troubleshooting.
Rate Range: $
49.24 /hour to $
64.39 /hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Developer job responsibilities include: - Developing and maintaining applications
- Writing and managing scripts for job scheduling
- Ensuring data consistency across platforms
- Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet project goals
Desired Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field
- 8-10 years of experience in Mainframe development
- Expertise in CL, Cobol, and JCL
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Familiarity with DB2, CICS, and VSAM
- Experience in writing and managing JCL scripts for job scheduling
- Knowledge of data quality assurance and consistency across platforms
- Proven ability to optimize and maintain large-scale applications
- Strong communication skills to interact with stakeholders and clients

Gopal.Gupta Pay Details: $49.24 to $64.39 per hour
