As an Desktop Support Technician, you will be responsible for providing on-site technical support to our clients, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, performing installations, and maintaining IT systems. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of hands-on experience in IT support, with a passion for helping others and solving technical problems in a timely and professional manner.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide on-site support for hardware and software installations, maintenance, and repairs.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to desktop computers, laptops, networking equipment, printers, and other IT systems.
  • Install, configure, and update software and hardware for clients.
  • Assist with system upgrades, network troubleshooting, and server maintenance.
  • Maintain inventory of equipment and manage service requests via ticketing system.
  • Collaborate with other IT professionals to resolve complex issues and deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Train end-users on basic IT practices, and provide clear documentation and reporting of tasks completed.
  • Ensure client satisfaction by meeting service level agreements (SLAs) and resolving issues promptly.
Qualifications:
  • At least 2 years of experience in IT support or as an Desktop Support Technician
  • Technical certifications such as A+ or Network+ are preferred
  • Strong understanding of hardware troubleshooting, software configuration, and networking.
  • Proficiency with operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux), and common office software (Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, etc.).
  • Familiarity with network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and hardware (routers, switches, firewalls).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (for travel to client locations).
  • Must be a US citizen or green card holder.
