We're seeking a proactive and skilled Onsite Desktop Technician to join our client's team in Philadelphia. This hands-on contract to hire role that will support both Mac and Windows environments, ensuring reliable technical support and endpoint deployment across the organization. The ideal candidate brings a strong technical foundation, excellent communication skills, and a self-starting attitude.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide on-site technical support for both Mac OS and Windows systems
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues, including desktops, laptops, and peripherals
  • Perform system imaging and endpoint deployments
  • Support basic networking tasks (e.g., routers, switches, wiring)
  • Ensure compliance with security protocols and organizational policies
  • Collaborate with internal teams using tools such as Microsoft Teams, Zoom, etc.
  • Document technical solutions and maintain accurate records
  • Support IT projects, including upgrades, rollouts, and installations

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 3+ years of experience in a desktop support or technician role
  • Proficiency with both Mac and Windows operating systems
  • Experience with Dell and Mac hardware
  • Familiarity with endpoint deployment tools and imaging processes
  • Basic networking knowledge (e.g., IP, DNS, cabling, switching)
  • Strong knowledge of collaboration tools (Teams, Zoom, etc.)
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative
  • Experience working in environments with security and compliance requirements

Must-Haves:

  • Non-smoker / No tobacco use (required for site policy compliance)
  • Up-to-date vaccination status (as per company health policy)
