Job Description

A client in Arlington Height, IL is looking for a desktop technician. They are unboxing (entering asset info into their asset management tool), imaging (using SCCM), configuring, and then deploying the machines to the users. For the laptops it will be white glove service rolling out to the end users within the hospital. They may need to install specific software based on the end user needs. End users will be doctors, nurses, virtually anyone within the hospital. They are also following their decommission process and placing them in their disposal and/or determining whether they can be reused. Will need to be comfortable driving to other location furthest would be 10 miles away.

Skills and Requirements

Windows 10/Windows 11 experience (mid-ground moving to 11 at the moment)

Attention to detail - building assets into ServiceNow

Imaging experience SCCM preferred

Deployment experience working with end users/customer facing

Strong Customer Service skills

Will need to be able to lift 20 lbs (monitors, thin clients) as well as need to use some power tools to get screws off. Experience installing/enabling encryption null
