100% ON SITE from Day 1 Parking is NOT provided for contractors ABOUT THE ROLE The Client seeks TWO experienced Desktop Support Specialists to aid in SCC's Windows 11 Upgrade Project to migrate from Microsoft Windows 10 and Office 365 (32-bit) to Windows 11 and Office 365 (64-bit This individual will be responsible for upgrading and reimaging workstations to Windows 11 in addition to installing and configuring Office 365 and other related software. The specialist will also serve as a point of contact for tracking and reporting deployment status and troubleshooting any upgrade issues. The Desktop Support Specialist will exhibit excellent communication and exceptional customer service skills by working directly with end users in addition to collaborating with other SCC technical and project teams. Skill Required / Desired Amount of Experience Working knowledge of and experience with Windows 10 and Windows 11 operating systems Required 4 Years Recent experience in a full-time Help Desk/Technical Support position 4+ Required 4 Years Experience and proficiency using an Endpoint Management System 4+ Required 4 Years Experience and proficiency using a Workstation Imaging Solution 4+ Required 4 Years Experience and proficiency using a Service Management Ticketing System 4+ Required 4 Years Experience and proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 applications 4+ Required 4 Years Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities 4+ Required 4 Years Excellent verbal and written communication skills 4+ Required 4 Years Ability to work independently with minimal direction and as a team 4+ Required 4 Years Ability to work effectively with end users, technical staff, and senior staff providing exception customer service Required 4 Years Experience with PowerShell scripting and/or SQL reporting Desired 4 Years Experience with Symantec's Altiris and/or Microsoft InTune Desired 4 Years Experience with Ivanti Service Desk Desired 4 Years Experience with Microsoft Deployment Toolkit Desired 4 Years Experience with Active Directory Desired 4 Years
