Job Title: Desktop Support

Location: Madison, WI

What's the Job?
  • Provide timely IT support for PC endpoint incidents to ensure DHS staff can efficiently support critical initiatives.
  • Assist with operational upgrades of desktop systems, including updating operating systems to Windows 11 and machine BIOS.
  • Support the transition of DHS's physical move to the GEF1 building, ensuring correct setup and troubleshooting technical issues.
  • Track efforts through a ticketing system to maintain organized and efficient support.
  • Perform software installations, both via packages and manual processes, to ensure all systems are up to date.
What's Needed?
  • 3+ years of experience troubleshooting issues on Windows laptops and desktops.
  • 3+ years of experience tracking efforts through a ticketing system.
  • 3+ years of experience in software installation, both packages and manual.
  • 3+ years of experience setting up computer stations and peripherals.
  • Experience with desktop tools such as Ivanti or SCCM is a plus.
