The Opportunity:
We are seeking an enthusiastic, personable, and qualified Desktop Support Engineer - Microsoft, Azure, O365 to join our team. In this role, you will provide end-user desktop support to multiple users operating Windows, Exchange, and Office 365 environments.
The Desktop Support Engineer - Microsoft, Azure, O365 will handle desktop support and server administration for client issues, responding to Level 1 and 2 service tickets. You will collaborate with a team and escalate issues as needed, also liaising with third-party vendors for warranty repairs.
This role may involve supporting a flagship client or multiple clients in London.
What you will do:
- Resolve Level 1 and 2 support cases related to end-user issues, infrastructure, and projects.
- Set appropriate client expectations during troubleshooting.
- Handle incidents involving Mail/Office 365, connectivity, VIP workstations, file restores, remote access, password resets, and network printers.
- Perform system maintenance such as patching, upgrades, and critical updates.
- Support Active Directory tasks including user management and group policies.
- Use support tools like RMM and MDM for issue resolution.
Who you are:
- Excellent communicator, able to explain technical issues clearly to non-technical users.
- Strong prioritization skills with a customer-centric approach.
- Bachelor's degree in IT or 3+ years of relevant experience.
- Experience with Microsoft Office 365, Windows Server, Windows 10/11, Active Directory, Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint.
- Knowledge of VPN setup, email systems, cybersecurity basics like MFA, hardware troubleshooting, file system support, and cloud platforms such as Microsoft 365.
Bonus points if you have:
- MSP experience
- VMware experience
- Azure experience
