Our client of over 20 years is a worldwide manufacturing company and one of the largest and
best-known producers in their industry- yielding over 5 billion dollars in global revenue, is
looking for a desktop support engineer right away.
They are looking for a Desktop Support Engineer to act as the single point of contact at their
warehouse facility in Fremont, OH. This resource will provide desktop, systems, networking
support to a user group of about 300 onsite and team up with local and national resources to
provide project support as well. This company has grown largely by acquisition and plans to
continue their growth plan in coming years. The right candidate would be accustomed to
resolving a wide range of technology issues while providing top-tier customer service to our end
users.
They are looking for a reliable, eager desktop support engineer who is excited about learning
new things. This role requires 3 days onsite attendance.
Role Responsibilities Include:
Identifying, diagnosing, tracking, and resolving complex technical problems
Building out and supporting technical environments, partnering with distributed teams
and 3rd party vendors.
Face to face technical support as well as ticketing.
Access management, VPN/ remoting in to provide support
Basic experience with server patching
Laptop/Desktop reimaging and installation (hardware and software)
Office 365 administration and troubleshooting
Ticket resolution through ServiceNow
Active Directory experience - adding, removing, managing permissions, etc.
MS Teams experience ideal
Outlook/Exchange environment
Network support experience highly valued (connectivity etc.)
The ability to travel between local sites is required - up to 20%
Certifications highly preferred
Any manufacturing experience is a huge plus.
