Our client, a leader in technology solutions, is seeking a Desktop Platform Engineer to join their team. As a Desktop Platform Engineer, you will be part of the Engineering Department supporting innovative projects. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and effective communication skills which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Desktop Platform Engineer
Location: Pennington, NJ (Hybrid - 3 days onsite)
What's the Job? - Design and implement the next generation desktop platform within the firm.
- Maintain and enhance legacy code and current code while determining the best way forward with upcoming requirements.
- Analyze and debate business use case scenarios and determine the best design and coding for each scenario.
- Document engineering design and operational procedures for design within tools.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of desktop solutions.
What's Needed? - Extensive knowledge and applied experience with .NET C , Visual Studio, Windows Form, and Windows Service.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Windows operating systems, specifically Windows 10 and 11.
- Experience with Microsoft Configuration Manager and WMI.
- Familiarity with scripting languages such as VbScript and Powershell.
- Understanding of telemetry tools like Splunk and Aternity.
