While technical skills are valued, we are equally focused on finding someone with a positive, can-do attitude, a willingness to work hard, and the drive to take ownership of their development. Some flexibility for occasional after-hours or weekend project work may be required.
As part of your duties, you will be responsible for:
- Installation and configuration of Windows operating systems and essential software
- Troubleshooting M365/O365 issues and providing end-user support
- Diagnosing and resolving hardware issues, including desktop, laptop, and peripheral equipment
- Supporting network-related issues such as VPN, Wi-Fi connectivity, and physical server room tasks (e.g., racking and stacking)
- Providing support for MacBooks and macOS (hardware and software)
- Device management and deployment using Intune (ideal)
- Supporting Citrix environments (ideal but not mandatory)
- Working knowledge of ServiceNow for ticket management and incident resolution
- Supporting meeting room technology and AV equipment
- Assisting with security best practices and endpoint protection tools (ideal)
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud (ideal but not mandatory)
- Experience with Jira and Confluence (ideal)
- Supporting server patching and updates (ideal but not mandatory)
Qualifications and experience we consider to be essential for the role:
- 3-4 years' experience in a similar IT support or desktop support role
- Strong experience supporting Windows and macOS operating systems
- Demonstrable experience with Microsoft 365 and general IT troubleshooting
- Hands-on experience with ServiceNow or similar ITSM tools
- Strong understanding of general hardware, software, and network issues
- Fluent written and spoken English with excellent interpersonal skills
Skills and Personal attributes we would like to have:
- A positive, can-do attitude with a strong sense of professionalism
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- A collaborative team player who can also work independently
- Willingness to be available during evenings and weekends when required for projects
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality service delivery
- Adaptability and eagerness to learn new technologies
