As a Desktop Engineer, you will ensure reliable performance across all devices, including desktops, laptops, and mobile platforms. You'll be responsible for installing, maintaining, and supporting hardware and software, with strong skills in configuring tools such as Intune, Autopilot, Entra, SCCM, and Jamf. In this role, you'll also contribute to infrastructure projects and participate in a rotating on-call schedule (2 weeks every 2 months). Success requires excellent troubleshooting abilities, a proactive mindset, and a strong commitment to delivering outstanding service.

This is a hybrid role. The selected candidate will reside within commuting distance of our Danvers, MA headquarters and will be expected to work in the office at least three days a week.

What you will be doing:
  • Configure, manage, and support endpoint tools including Intune, Autopilot, Entra, SCCM, and Jamf across Windows, macOS, Android, and iOS devices
  • Build and maintain secure enterprise images and perform regular updates, monitoring, and system optimization
  • Deliver responsive, white-glove support to all users, including executives, resolving hardware, software, and network issues
  • Collaborate with IT and security teams on upgrades, compliance, and infrastructure projects, ensuring alignment with best practices
  • Automate tasks and support process improvements through scripting (PowerShell/Bash), documentation, and technical reporting
  • Participate in on-call rotation for data center operations, supporting business continuity and other responsibilities as needed
Requirements
  • Proven experience managing endpoint tools such as Intune, Autopilot, Entra, SCCM, and Jamf
  • Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11, macOS, Android, and iOS operating systems
  • Proficiency in PowerShell and Bash scripting for automation and troubleshooting
  • Experience with software deployment, imaging, and enterprise-level system configuration
  • Familiarity with Active Directory, Group Policy, and remote management tools
  • Ability to create and maintain technical documentation, system reports, and knowledge articles
Compensation range: $105,000 to $120,000

Other compensation: Performance bonus eligible

The actual salary offer to the successful candidate will be based on job-related education, training, licensure, certifications, related experience and other related factors.
