Work Location: Remote with onsite as needed
  • Will need to work in the Addison, TX, office for training. Possibility to become remote within DFW metroplex.
Work Hours: Full Time, Monday - Friday

Here is what you will need:
  • 5+ years of increasing responsibility within an IT technical environment
  • Work proficiently with minimal supervision to complete projects and tasks
  • Advanced knowledge of Windows platform deployments
  • Strong technical ability and troubleshooting skills of desktop systems, software, and peripherals
  • Attention to detail while providing excellent customer service
  • Ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization, including staff, business stakeholders, and all levels of management.
  • Experience deploying and managing mobile devices such as iPads and tablets through MDM environments
  • Experience troubleshooting local network and application performance related issues
  • Experience with Citrix Workspace is highly desirable
  • Experience with Microsoft Active Directory is required.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server and SQL scripting is highly desirable
  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Engineering, or related disciplines is preferred
  • Preferred certifications in Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, Citrix Certified Administrator, Cisco CCNA or Network +
A Day in the Life of a Desktop Engineer:
  • Provide services and support for the following areas:
    • Be responsible for the ongoing maintenance and future planning needs of the company's desktop environment
    • Work directly with end users as needed to investigate/remediate vulnerabilities and other deployments where automated solutions have failed
    • Act as the escalation point for all complex Windows desktop and application related environmental issues
    • Management of Microsoft Endpoint Manager (Intune) and AutoPilot
    • Support the creation of clear documentation and user guides for current or new technology deployed.
    • Monitor the performance of the company's desktop infrastructure and make suggestions for improving efficiency
    • Maintain the build images and security for Windows 10 Desktop, macOS, IOS, and thin client builds
    • Manage the company's software packaging, reporting, administration, and troubleshooting
    • Perform hands-on fixes at the desktop level, including installing and upgrading software, implementing file backups, and configuring systems and applications
    • Collaborates with vendors, 3rd party teams and Solis team leadership to troubleshoot issues
