We're in search of a Desktop support Technician who interface with the agency users remotely and in person, so customer service skills are as essential as technical skills.

Job Title: Desktop Support Specialist
Location: Frankfort, KY
Duration: Long-term Indefinite
Status : Onsite
Note: The position will be located at the Data Center in Frankfort KY and involves an open office environment with a business casual dress code.
Shift timing: Sunday 8:00 PM - 7:00 AM, Tuesday 8:00 PM - 6:30 AM, Wednesday 8:00 PM - 6:30, and Saturday 8:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Job Description
• 2-3 years of IT experience as a Desktop Support technician or other IT support with experience diagnosing and resolving technical issues with hardware and software systems, providing general IT support duties with excellent troubleshooting skills.
• Customer services skills and temperament.
The preferred candidate would need the following:
ü Experience in monitoring enterprise-wide operations.
ü Data center operations experience a plus.
ü Experience in customer service-oriented workplace.
ü IT experience and knowledge in the following.
o Desktop Support (Remote Support).
o Windows 11 Operating System.
o Office Suite (particularly Microsoft Office 365).
o Preferred ServiceNow Ticketing System experience.
o Windows Command Line Interface/PowerShell experience.
o Basic networking diagnostics using Microsoft Windows tools.
ü Multi-tasking ability
ü Detailed oriented with the ability to follow policies and procedures.
ü Documentation skills (clear, concise)
ü Experience with Active Directory
ü Experience with remote support or desktop support
