Job Summary
  • Research, design, develop, implement, manage, monitor and support for end user technology as it pertains to Norman Regional Hospital Desktop environment.
  • Collaborates with technical Architect team to determine project priorities and technology advancements.
  • Identifies software and hardware needs based on Health System strategic objectives, identified through ongoing assessment.
  • Routine maintenance for system upgrades, hardware upgrades, and security patching
  • Analyze system event logs, errors, security logs and troubleshoots issues
  • Monitors system performance for key metrics to prevent underlying issues
  • Manages system issues, hardware, software, changes and testing for optimal performance evaluations
  • Tune hardware, images, policies, and settings for optimal system performance
  • Provide 24x7 technical support with ability to troubleshoot complex environment
  • Project management of technical projects
  • Capable of leading technical staff through deployments and largemplex installations for desktop environment
  • Assigns activities to team members and follows up to ensure appropriate, timely execution of tasks
  • Advises leadership on technical and implementation issues
  • Advises leadership in strategic planning and budgeting
  • Resource for technical and non-technical staff and key connection point for contractors and vendor relationships.
  • Mentors and coaches junior staff members
  • Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications

Education
  • Associate degree in computer science, or other Technical degree is preferred.
Experience
  • Three years of experience with Desktop Support
  • Experience with VMware Horizon, Virtual Center, Virtual Desktop (VDI), VDI connection points, physical desktops, master images, asset management tools, mobile device management (MDM), advanced scripting, technical project management.
  • Technical Health Care experience or knowledge is preferred
  • Excellent customer service
  • Must be able to communicate technically and non-technical based on conversation needs.
Licensure/Certification
  • Advanced technical certifications are required
Compensation
  • $25.00-$40.42/hr based on previous work experience
