Position - Deskside Support SpecialistLocation - Franklin, TN (Onsite Position)Job Type - Permanent Position Job Purpose The Deskside Support Specialist provides a single point of contact for end-users to receive support and maintenance within the organization's desktop computing environment. This includes installing, diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and upgrading all PC and Laptop hardware/equipment to ensure optimal workstation performance. Troubleshoots problem areas (in person, by telephone, or via e-mail) in a timely and accurate fashion and provides end-user assistance where required.
Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities - Basic troubleshooting of software & hardware
- Carry out assigned project tasks
- Utilize asset report data to remediate reporting issues
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities - Laptop, Desktop and Printer Hardware
- Ability to document time spent
- Microsoft Windows 7 and up
- Follow verbal instruction
- Basic understanding of virtual environments
- Work both independently and part of a team
Education and ExperienceHigh School Diploma or equivalent, required.
